Report back on McDonough SQ 5 on 12 July

Hi Guys,
The track, fresh from the Regional race held there the previous weekend was immaculate. It was hot and humid and so was the racing! Cheyenne (13G) was combined with the 14 girls and getting second place finishes and was shaping up to get first place in the third round when she encountered heavy traffic in the first turn and crashed. Nathan and Michael made their main in the tough 15 Expert class. With this stacked class and big team bonus points, I was hoping for a 1-2 placing, alas the crowded first turn action and 2 riders crashing hard on the third straight jumps, we came away with Nathan in third place and Michael in sixth. Ryan and Ty in the 13 Expert class also made their main. Ryan showed great power down the first straight, and stayed out front for a comfortable win. Our older team racers had small classes and the racing was uneventful. We turned in a respectable score of 86 and took 4th place. Our whole team was there - thanks to you all - we had our team photo taken and only Nathan was missing. Next SQ we will attempt to get a photo of all 8 of us!

Anthony.

Report back on Albany SQ 4 on 28 June

Hi Guys,
The track was whipped into decent shape - the first 3 straights were great, while the 4 straight had gooey spots and was slow. Track conditions and shortening the race to 2 rounds (where the first moto round results - not the third round - counted) made for interesting results in the team series. We had 6 riders available for roster, thanks to all who braved the weather and got-er-done! We had some bad luck and we posted a mediocre score of 82. It was not good enough to earn some money, so it's on to the next SQ to be held at McDonough on 12 July. We did well here at the previous SQ, so let's repeat that and kick it. As always, the team tent will be there - look forward to seeing y'all there too!

Good luck and train hard!
Anthony.

Report back on Augusta SQ 3 on 10 May

Hi Guys,
182 riders, 48 motos, 10 teams, 4 ProAm Open motos. The track was smooth and fast. Weather hot and hazy.We had a shaky start to the day, Ryan deRoche broke his arm during practice, fortunately the remaining 7 riders were available for roster, so we still had options.

Ryan, we hope you heal up quick and come stronger than ever. Mike Porter had a rough day, he crashed in the motos, but still made his main. And then he lost some more skin in the main! Nathan Grant uncorked a big win in the packed/stacked 15X class, how sweet it is. Seth Utz was able to squeak a win in class - and save something for the ProAm money race. Phew!

Our team sheet reflected 4 first places and a score of 92 points. Excellent! We tied with Savage's 92 points and even with the tiebreakers were not able to declare a winner, so the 1st and 2nd place cash was split. We did not get our team photo taken - listen for the announcement at the next SQ. I am proud of our team, thanks to y'all.

See you at SQ #4 in Albany on June 28th,
Anthony.

Report back on Augusta SQ 2 on 12 April

Hi Guys,
The track was prepped, our whole team was present and ready to represent, practice session was complete - and down came the rain! When the rain stopped, Augusta track director judged that we would not be able to have the track ready to race that day. SQ2 will be held after the Sunday Regional race on 3rd August.

Report back on Columbus SQ 1 on 8 March

Hi Guys,
Parts of the track were covered, however the rain fell all night and when we got there it started snowing! With no warm weather to help dry the track and more snow later on in the day, the race was cancelled and rescheduled for the first rain date of 23rd August. Snow joke!!
